"Sometimes, you have to say things out loud to make them real.

Maybe it's something small-like admitting you need to stop overbuying lettuce with the intention of eating two salads a day. No one does that in real life.

Sometimes it's bigger-like the first time you whispered, "I need a divorce."

There's something validating about hearing yourself make a declarative statement. It makes you accountable to the single most important person in your life: you.

Behind all the quiet resentment, the small conflicts you brush off to keep the peace, the stagnant leftovers of relationships that wouldn't survive a Friday afternoon fridge cleaning...there's clarity.

You just have to give yourself permission to hear yourself aloud.

But what I can share is this: talking to Russ and working through whatever's going on has been unexpectedly funny, intellectually energizing, and emotionally grounding.

There's no "So, what I hear you saying..." or Law and Order therapy cliches. It's an honest, heartfelt connection-wrapped in something sustainable that actually leaves you feeling good about yourself.

So, to all of us, still clinging like a Kraft Singles processed cheese product...consider this your first trip to the farmer's market."
